Dear Hormone Day supporter

We are delighted to share our plans to take the #BecauseHormonesMatter campaign global next year – with World Hormone Day 2025 on Thursday 24 April 2025! 
 
Thanks to your fantastic support for European Hormone Day over the last three years, we have an opportunity to build on that success and spread the message even further.  
 
World Hormone Day will bring together the endocrine community around the world to raise awareness of the importance of good hormone health. Under the banner of #BecauseHormonesMatter, we’ll share the small steps everyone can take to improve hormone health, individually and within our communities. We hope you’ll join us again. 
Key dates for your diary

To help you plan, we’re holding an all-stakeholder meeting in January and three topic-specific workshops in February. These will take place via Zoom and are open to all. Agendas and Zoom links will be sent in January. Workshop recordings will be available to ESE Members.

Stakeholder meeting:
Thursday 30 January 2025 at 16:00 CET

Chaired by Jérôme Bertherat and Charlotte Höybye

This will be an opportunity to hear more about the aims of the campaign, get ideas for how to participate and see some of the resources that will be available in the World Hormone Day Toolkits.

Media and Press outreach for WHD

This will give an overview of things to think about when engaging with news outlets, including how to pitch an article and how to adapt the template World Hormone Day press release.

Tips for Engaging with local and regional Politicians – 12 February 2025 16:30 CET

Chaired by Martin Reincke, presented by Mischa van Eimeren

This is a chance to learn more about how to engage with national and European politicians, hear examples of how other organisations work to influence policy, and see a walk-through of the World Hormone Day Policy Toolkit.

Using social media to support WHD
and #BecauseHormonesMatter –

This workshop will focus on how to use social media to spread the word that hormones matter! You’ll get an overview of ESE’s social media plans for World Hormone Day and lots of ideas for your own activities, including how to use the Public Outreach Toolkit.
